Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav, who is known for his impeccable comic timing, was on Tuesday remanded to police custody for 10 days by the Delhi High Court, for concealing facts about a Rs. 5 crore recovery suit filed against him and his wife by a Delhi-based entrepreneur, M.G. Agarwal.
Justice S. Murlidhar also asked the actor's wife to remain present in the Registrar General's office till the rising of the court. He also issued contempt of court notice against two lawyers, who were representing the couple.
Rajpal and his wife Radha got into legal soup after Agarwal filed a case against them for failing to repay a loan of Rs. 5 crore, which the actor took from him for his directorial debut Ata Pata Laapata (2012).
