Most Windows Users Still Prefer XP

A year has passed since the market entry of Microsoft Windows 7 and passions slowly subsided. Despite the increasing popularity of Windows 7, the total market share of Windows again fell slightly.

It is no secret that many Windows users often prefer to stay with the version of the OS, which was originally to avoid unnecessary problems with compatibility. In the case of Vista is also added to the problem of speed, while XP is an attractive operating system, works fine on most computers, and to this day.

These companies Net Applications for this month show that the proportion of XP in the global traffic of 60.03%, which is slightly lower than 60.89% last month. The share of Windows Vista has fallen from 14% to 13.35%, while Windows 7 - increased by 1.25% to 17.1%.

Thus, Vista and XP together lost 1.51% in September, and the difference between the increase in the share of Windows 7 and the loss of Vista / XP represent 0,25% of that lost of Windows for the last month - their share now stands at 91.08% .

After the launch of Windows 7 in October 2009, the presence of Windows in the Internet grew only three months, but over the past 11 months it decreased by 1.44%.

If we believe to Net Applications, then Windows 7 could not stop the share loss in the presence of Windows networks, although a bit and slowed the trend.
